Every week, fantasy baseball managers need to make decisions about trades. This week's updated Trade Values Chart helps you figure out which deals make sense for your team. The chart reflects recent injuries, strong performances, and other changes in the game.
Here's how to use the chart: Find the trade value of the player or players you plan to give away. Then find the trade value of the player or players you would receive. If the points coming back to you exceed what you're giving up, the trade favors you. Pull the trigger.
The values are a guide, not a rule. If a player's value is close to another player's, but you believe in the one you'd get more, go ahead and make the trade. However, the math matters more when you're trading uneven numbers of players. Trading three low-value players for one high-value player rarely works out well.
This week's charts cover both H2H points leagues and Roto or categories leagues. You can also use these rankings as rest-of-season player rankings for either format. Players who don't appear on these lists have very minimal trade value, according to the chart.
In H2H points leagues, Aaron Judge leads with a value of 57, followed by Shohei Ohtani at 52 and Juan Soto at 50. Jose Ramirez and Bobby Witt both sit at 47. Other top-tier players include Kyle Tucker at 47, Ronald Acuña Jr. at 44, Paul Skenes at 44, Yordan Alvarez at 43, and Kyle Schwarber at 41.
Roto league valuations shift the rankings slightly. Aaron Judge remains first at 54, but Shohei Ohtani and Bobby Witt tie for second at 48. Jose Ramirez drops to 46, and Juan Soto falls to 44. Elly De La Cruz (43), Ronald Acuña Jr. (43), Julio Rodriguez (40), Paul Skenes (38), and Corbin Carroll (38) round out the top tier for category leagues.
The full charts list players 1 through 235 in each format, providing a complete ranking system for any trade proposal you're considering. Use these values as your baseline for negotiations with other managers in your league.
