Anthony Gordon flies out for Barcelona medical ahead of £69.3m transfer

Anthony Gordon departed Newcastle on Thursday ahead of his medical examination at Barcelona. Sky Sports News obtained exclusive footage of the winger boarding a flight, accompanied by his representative Adam Dugdale.

The move marks the final stage of Gordon's transfer to the Spanish club. Barcelona agreed a fee of £69.3 million with Newcastle United for the player.

Gordon will complete his medical at Barcelona before the transfer can be finalised. Once cleared, he is expected to sign a contract with the La Liga side.
