Iran says it struck U.S. base after American strikes on drone sites

Iran said it carried out an attack on a U.S. military base following renewed American strikes on Iranian drone facilities. The U.S. confirmed it launched what it called "self-defense strikes" against Iranian drone operations.

Kuwait reported that it intercepted an Iranian missile during the exchange. Officials did not immediately provide details on the location or extent of damage from the Iranian attack or the U.S. strikes.
